Promptwatch vs Previsible 2026

We execute GEO and measure it on Promptwatch. Previsible is a San Francisco GEO agency with quote-only retainers. How we split the work if a client already hired them.

This is the comparison we give when a procurement lead pastes Previsible next to Promptwatch in a spreadsheet. One column is software we operate every week. The other is an agency we might sit alongside on sprints, or compete with if they want the whole GEO retainer. We already do GEO execution. We still measure on Promptwatch. Previsible does not change that. We would not replace Promptwatch with an agency PDF. The framing is the part that matters: software and an agency are not the same row in a spreadsheet, and pasting them next to each other is a category error that the procurement lead is making without realizing it.

The two jobs

Promptwatch: prompt tracking, citation analytics (page, Reddit, YouTube), Agent Analytics crawler logs, visitor conversions, Content Agents to Webflow or Framer. Explore 10 ChatGPT prompts. Essential $95. Professional $245 (25M logs). Business $579. Kick-off $199, Growth $399, Scale $799. G2 4.7/5, 1,840-plus. Amsterdam April 2025. Named customers: Duolingo, Yelp, Typeform, Rabobank, Monks, WPP. No $29 plan. The feature list is the part that makes Promptwatch a platform rather than a tracker, and the named customers are the part that makes the platform checkable.

Previsible: people. Mission San Francisco, Torre Costanera Santiago. Jordan Koene, Tyson Stockton, David Bell. About FAQ April 2020; llms.txt still says 2021 and previsible.io. FAQ names ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, AI Overviews, Amazon Rufus, Copilot. Initial 30 to 60 days, sustained 90 to 120 (vendor). No GEO dollars on the site we read 27 August 2026. Contracted per project. Integrated 12-month, two-week sprints, most popular. Dedicated multi-year. 70 people, 10 countries (2026). IMN May 2025, Improove US November 2025, partner program August 2024. The people list and the founding-date mismatch are the parts that make Previsible a real firm and a firm whose dates need labeling, and the absence of dollars is the part that makes a price comparison a guess.

Proof we will put on a slide

We do not invent extra case numbers. We do not put vendor percentages in the same row as crawler logs. We do not paste the plans-page Yelp/Coursera quote blocks (wrong signatures) onto a slide. The labeling is the part that keeps the slide honest, because a vendor case and a catalog fact are different kinds of evidence, and putting them in the same column is how a slide becomes a sales pitch.

How we staff a split engagement

Analyst: Promptwatch, always. Sprints: Previsible only if the client already hired them and the SOW does not duplicate our GEO content. Content: our side, Content Agents when the CMS is Webflow or Framer. Engineer: Professional logs via Cloudflare or another listed CDN. The four roles are the four seats, and Promptwatch is the one seat that never moves, because measurement is the part that grades the other three.

If they want Previsible to "own GEO," that is a competitor conversation, not a plugin. We will not run two execution teams against the same prompts. We will still recommend they keep Promptwatch so someone independent can see citation trends. Sitting alongside their two-week sprints is the version we will actually staff. The alongside model is the one that works, because two execution teams on the same prompts is a conflict and one execution team plus one measurement seat is a division of labor.

Reddit and YouTube citation views are the named feature we cite in this matchup. Agency mention totals do not show which offsite URL is carrying the answer. We got tired of arguing about that in QBRs. The platform holds the breakdown. The breakdown is the part that ends the argument, because an agency can report a mention total and Promptwatch can report which URL carried it, and the second number is the one you can act on.

Money without fake apples

Do not convert their unpublished Integrated retainer into "cheaper than Kick-off $199." Do not put two-week sprints next to 50 prompts. Do not treat Contracted as Explore. Do not pause our measurement for their 30 to 60 day initial window. The four do-nots are the four ways a split engagement gets mispriced, and each misprice is a number that means nothing.

AthenaHQ is software with a task queue, a different fork. Profound Enterprise agents are a different fork; not our #1 visibility platform. Otterly.AI and Peec AI stay off the proposal. The three forks are three different products, and the proposal is the place to name them rather than to merge them.

85 brands versus 100-plus is their census problem. We will not reconcile it in a proposal footnote. The census problem is the vendor's, and a footnote that tries to reconcile it is a footnote that takes a side, which is not our job.

Verdict

Promptwatch is the OS. Previsible is optional labor for sprints the client already bought, or a rival if they take the retainer. We execute GEO either way. We measure in one place. We would not trade the login for the PDF. The verdict is the part that closes the comparison, and it closes on measurement, because measurement is the part that survives whichever execution path the client picks.

FAQ

Would you hire them?

For a scoped Contracted project, if the quote holds. For Integrated, only if the client already signed and we can sit alongside without two GEO stories. Not as our tracker. The three answers are three scopes, and the scope is the part that decides whether hiring them makes sense.

What if the client already signed San Francisco?

Keep Promptwatch. Ask for exports. Write the overlap into the SOW so we are not duplicating entity work. That is the alongside model. The exports are the part that lets us grade their sprints, and the SOW clause is the part that prevents two teams from writing the same page.

Is Kick-off the comparable SKU?

Kick-off is our multi-brand license. Their comparable is a custom retainer we have not seen priced. Compare after the email, not on the blog table. The comparison after the email is the only comparison that has a number in it, and a comparison without a number is a guess.
