Promptwatch vs Evertune vs Brandlight vs Bluefish AI: Features Compared
When a client asks for Evertune sampling, a Brandlight command center, or Bluefish brand safety, and why we still operate GEO on Promptwatch features.
Brand teams often group Evertune, Brandlight, Bluefish AI, and Promptwatch under the same GEO label. They are not four versions of one product. Evertune is oriented toward brand research. Brandlight emphasizes enterprise visibility and governance. Bluefish approaches the problem through brand representation and safety. Promptwatch is the platform we use to run the recurring work.
That distinction matters before a demo. A quarterly perception study has a different method from daily prompt monitoring, and a governance command center is not the same thing as a crawler log. We also keep Google's AI features documentation and Search Console in the workflow for AI Overviews.
Start with the question the product answers
We ask clients to define the decision before comparing feature lists. Do they need a defensible view of how models describe the brand? Are several regions and business units sharing one reporting system? Is the immediate risk an outdated or inaccurate product claim? Or does the team need to monitor prompts, diagnose crawler access, connect AI traffic to conversions, and publish new content each week?
One company may need more than one of these jobs done. If so, the methods must stay labeled in the report. A research sample and a recurring prompt trend should not be merged into one score.
Evertune is the research option
Evertune uses large-sample AI answer analysis to measure share of recommendation, brand attributes, sentiment, and differences between models. Its source entry describes roughly 100 samples per question across more than ten models. That repeated sampling is suited to a brand or insights team that needs something more robust than a single answer captured on one afternoon.
EverPanel adds conversation-panel data. The entry also documents a path from perception findings into media activation through The Trade Desk and Index Exchange. This makes Evertune relevant when the brief concerns brand knowledge and advertising, rather than only search visibility.
We would use that output as a research input. The same source entry does not document named AI crawler logs, AI referral conversion tracking, detailed page and offsite citation analysis, or a content workflow that publishes to Webflow or Framer. Its listed data exports to business intelligence tools are manual. That means the delivery team still needs an operating system after the study has identified a problem.
Brandlight is shaped for enterprise governance
Brandlight documents mention, sentiment, citation, and competitive share-of-voice analysis across major AI engines. Its command center covers multiple brands and regions. SOC 2 Type II, single sign-on, and role-based access make the product legible to enterprise procurement and security teams.
That setup fits an organization where a central marketing function needs controlled access across markets. It can give leadership one place to review how several brands appear. The source entry also says Brandlight is expanding toward AI advertising and commerce tracking.
We do not turn that roadmap into a current retainer promise. The entry does not document named crawler logs with crawl-to-citation paths, visitor analytics tied to conversions, or Content Agents with a CMS review inbox. It also lists no public price or self-serve trial. In a buying process, we would ask the vendor to demonstrate those operational layers before assuming they are included.
Bluefish focuses on representation risk
Bluefish AI monitors how models represent a brand and flags misinformation, outdated claims, and unfavorable competitive framing. Its documented features also include corrective action recommendations and escalation workflows. That is a sensible frame for a consumer or regulated brand where an inaccurate AI answer creates a reputation problem even when it sends no website visit.
Public diligence is more limited. The source entry lists custom pricing and no public API documentation, self-serve access, or trial. It does not document named crawler logs, conversion attribution, CMS publishing, detailed citation categories, or prompt intelligence such as query fan-outs and city-level tracking.
We would therefore evaluate Bluefish against a specific representation-risk brief. In the demo, we would use known outdated claims as test cases and ask to see the full path from detection to corrective action. We would not infer the rest of a GEO stack from the brand-safety positioning.
Promptwatch runs the weekly program
Promptwatch starts with tracked prompts that can include search volume, difficulty, query fan-outs, and personas. Essential includes country-level targeting. State and city targeting start on Professional for brand plans and are also included on the agency plans. Prompt trends show how visibility and ranking change. Citation analytics identifies pages, domains, Reddit citations, YouTube citations, and offsite mentions.
On Professional, Business, or an agency plan, Agent Analytics records named crawlers such as ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther, and Meta's crawler. It shows crawl-to-citation paths and errors. Visitor analytics connects AI-referred sessions to conversions through a lightweight script or Google Tag Manager. Content Agents use identified gaps to plan, draft, review, and publish content to Webflow or Framer.
That is why we use Promptwatch for delivery even when a client commissions separate research or governance software. Explore is free for ten ChatGPT prompts. Essential is $95 per month for a country-level prompt, citation, and visitor program, with no listed crawler-log allowance. Professional is the first brand plan with crawler logs and state or city targeting. The $199 agency Kick-off plan includes those features, unlimited projects and prompts, ten seats, 10,000 responses, and 10 million crawler logs.
How we scope the purchase
Choose Evertune when the assignment is a sampled brand-perception study. Evaluate Brandlight when enterprise governance is central. Put Bluefish through a focused brand-safety pilot when representation risk drives the brief. For the recurring work of monitoring, diagnosis, conversion measurement, and publishing, we keep the client program in Promptwatch and label any outside research as a separate evidence source.
