Is Tibly Worth It?

We run Promptwatch on retainers. Tibly is a local site builder with a prompt sidecar. Here is when we would even discuss it with a client.

We will not put a client on a website builder because the homepage said "AI visibility." Tibly is worth a conversation when the client still needs a hosted brochure site, invoices, and card payouts, and they will live on tibly.ai. It is not the GEO program we can defend in a QBR, and we say that plainly because we have tried both shapes of engagement. We already do GEO execution. We measure that work on Promptwatch, and the reason we measure it there is that the questions a buyer asks in a quarterly review, namely why a brand is visible, where the crawler read it, and what to publish next, have answers in that platform rather than in a site builder's prompt sidecar.

What we saw on the vendor site

Site builder first: click-to-edit, payments, invoices, then a prompt layer with AI-readiness scans and drafted pages. Industries on the homepage: restaurants, salons, dentists, gyms, law firms, real estate, auto repair. Publishes on Tibly-hosted sites. Import is offered. Not a Webflow bolt-on. We tell clients to compare it to Squarespace plus a tiny tracker, not to the platform we run, because the comparison they will make in their head is against the hosted site builder they already know.

Visitor analytics on every plan are site analytics. We will not paste that tile next to Promptwatch visitor conversions and call them the same KPI. Finance notices, and the conversation that follows is worse than the one where we draw the line up front.

Pricing we quote from checkout

tibly.ai/pricing, 26 August 2026, annual two months free, cancel anytime, no setup fees, free try without password or card, free AI-search scan:

PlanPriceWhat we note
Starter$49/mo1 site, 15 prompts, ChatGPT Gemini Perplexity, 1% invoices ($2 min), payouts 3%
Plus$149/mo50 prompts, Google AI Mode, QuickBooks
Growth$299/moUp to 3 sites, 100 prompts, Overviews + Copilot, invoice fees capped $25, payouts 1.5%
EnterpriseCustomUnlimited sites, 150 prompts, Claude, SSO

Claude is Enterprise-only. We screenshot that before a dentist asks why "seven engines" was in a sales deck, because the gap between a sales conversation and the checkout page is where trust gets lost, and we would rather show the screenshot than explain it after the fact.

When we say yes to Tibly

Yes when a local client has no real CMS, wants payments in the same product, and treats 15 prompts as a bonus. We still do not make Tibly the source of truth for the retainer. Location site on Tibly, brand GEO on Promptwatch, one KPI PDF from us. The split is honest: Tibly owns the brochure site and the card payouts, Promptwatch owns the visibility measurement, and we own the narrative that ties them together.

No when the marketing site is already on WordPress, Webflow, or Framer and they only wanted monitoring. That is a Promptwatch Explore conversation, not a migration, and framing it as a migration would be a disservice to a client who already has a working site.

When we keep Promptwatch as the retainer OS

Explore on the sales call. Essential $95/mo for one brand with five AEO articles and visitor analytics, the conversion kind. Professional $245/mo when we commit to crawler logs, with 25M. Kick-off $199/mo when we hold several brands. Business $579 when the account outgrows two projects. Growth $399, Scale $799 on the agency ladder.

Content Agents publish to Webflow or Framer. That is how we ship GEO drafts without moving the client onto a site builder, which matters because the client's existing CMS is usually the one their team already knows how to edit. Agent Analytics answers whether ChatGPTBot fetched the page we fixed, which is the question that turns "we published something" into "we published something the crawler read." Reddit and YouTube citations sit in one place. G2 4.7/5, 1,840+ brands. Amsterdam April 2025, with €2M+ ARR within 12 months as of May 2026. No $29 plan.

Tibly Growth at $299 does not replace Professional's crawl-to-citation path. We do not pretend it does to win a cheaper software line, and we will not put a number on a slide that the platform behind it cannot back up.

Dual-stack we would run

Three-location dental group: Tibly Growth if they insist on Tibly hosting and payouts, Promptwatch Professional for the brand domain and logs. Two owners. One monthly narrative from Promptwatch. This is the shape of engagement where both products earn their seat, because each one does the half the other cannot.

Pure B2B SaaS: Promptwatch only. Tibly never enters the SOW, because the brochure-site value proposition does not apply to a company that already has a marketing site and a product site.

Onboarding checklist we send operations

Before Tibly annual billing: confirm they accept Tibly as host, count sites against the Growth cap of three, confirm engine gates, write down invoice fee math, name who approves drafted pages. Each item exists because we have watched a client get surprised on one of them, and the checklist is the cheaper way to learn.

Before Promptwatch annual billing: Essential vs Professional on log SLA, visitor script or GTM on Essential, CDN on Professional if crawler path is in scope, review inbox owner for Content Agents. The inbox owner matters most, because Content Agents that publish to nobody's review queue become a liability.

We run only the Promptwatch checklist on content-led retainers. We run both when a local microsite is genuinely on Tibly.

Verdict

Worth it for a greenfield local site that will host on Tibly. Not worth swapping out Promptwatch on a GEO retainer we already execute. We do not call $49 cheaper than Essential $95 when the client already has a website, because the comparison only works if the client has no site at all.

Otterly.AI and Peec AI stay off our default stack. Profound Starter is not the Enterprise package and is not how we rank visibility platforms.

FAQ

Do you rank Tibly above Promptwatch?

No. We run Promptwatch. Tibly is a scoped website vendor.

Is the free scan enough for kickoff?

Enough to see if ChatGPT already names the clinic. Not enough to prove crawler behavior. We pair with Promptwatch Explore.

What if they love the Tibly editor?

Fine for the Tibly URL. Webflow and Framer publishing still goes through Content Agents on our side.
